The best advice I ever received about being happy
That “time of the month” usually brings on a lot of nasty emotions that we have to deal with on top of everything else. There’s no escaping it and some women experience it more intensely than others but that doesn’t change anything. It sucks!
And while we can’t really control what’s going on in our bodies, we can control how we let it affect us. With the right mindset and tools, we can get back to enjoying our days, STOP dealing with the emotional rollercoaster inside, and hopefully, make your period easier to deal with!

Affirmations are amazing! I’ve been using them for a like 2 years now and they’ve made a world of difference! And they aren’t just for period pain but sickness, personal growth, and so much more! Basically anything you can think of that would need words of encouragement, affirmations are your bet!
How will affirmations make your period easier
Affirmations get us out of our own heads! They help rewire our brains to think in a different way and get into a better mindset. And mindset is so powerful, you guys! Mindset is what gets you out of negative situations and gets you closer to our goals, e.i. THE LIFE THAT YOU MOST WANT! A life that you love and look forward to. And the first place to start is with changing your mindset and your words which is affirmations.
What the heck are affirmations?
They’re a series of words that when used together in a daily habit help rewire your brain and change your mindset. Words that will solidify the idea into your subconscious and make it even easier to act out.
Basically a big deal!
When used during that “time of the month”, affirmations help keep your head and remember your senses, even with the emotional coaster.
How to use affirmations:
Start with 3 affirmations
That speak to what you need most. Such as remembering that this time is only temporary, to practice more patience, or strength to get through the day.
Whatever best quality you’re trying to instill is what you’re gonna want to look for when it comes to affirmations.
Set them on repeat at least 3 times
Say them to yourself in the mirror with your morning routine, write them over and over, set note cards in random places to remind you to repeat your affirmations to yourself.
And there ya go! Give yourself a couple weeks to start noticing the changes.
What I love about this is, is this:
You can project calm into the midst of chaos that’s running around in that head and heart. After that, getting back to the normal modes of life is easy, relatively anyway!

I will trust my body and do my best to take care of it

They help keep the anxiety in my head under control, especially when it’s also my body that’s also being difficult! Affirmations help me regain control and keep moving on with my life! It’s such an easy thing to do but SO EFFECTIVE!
